This website was created for Zimmer Biomet, a orthopedic medical device company, as a place for patients to find trusted information to help them at each stage of their journey. I joined the project team after the first sprint. I had a designer hand off with Riley Powell and took over all aspects of the design workflow until the completion of the design phase of the project.
The majority of the website is made up of articles. We created templates with plug and play design components that contributors could use to build their article. As I was designing, I was constantly thinking about how design would be converted into a content management system that would be friendly for our client.
This website is targeted toward an age group of 40+ so I was definitely taking UX challenges such as poor eye site, dexterity with mobile devices, etc. and cognative ease into consideration at every stage.
I was responsible for creating a style guide for the development team as well as our client to use.
