Bridges to Change (BTC), a recovery non-profit, approached me to collaborate on a fundraising campaign in the Fall 2019. My goal was to help tell the story of the organization and create opprotunties for donation. The campaign brought in over 25K, which exceeded the prior year’s benchmark by 3K.
I started the project off by creating a look and feel that would guide the design for the rest of the campaign. I choose bold colors that would cut through the chaos of the holidays and relied heavily on bold typography and inspirational messages.
We highlighted 4 facts about Bridges to Change that most folks wouldn’t know about the organization like, “572 beds available in our recovery homes”. These factoids were used on social media to provide a reminder of the work BTC is doing and how your donation would be used. At the end of each of the posts we included a CTA to donate.
We also brought in the BTC staff to get their best tips around supporting friends and family in recovery. I took their words and made inspirational posters with them. These were used across social media channels.
Bridges to Change organized a unique fundraising event where people could get a tattoo and the proceeds would go towards BTC. The first push for involvement was for a call for tattoo designs. Once the contest was complete we focused our effort on marketing for the event.
These assets were used across BTC social media channels and given as a media kit for participating tattoo shops.
